Industrial Oil Free Dry Screw Vacuum Pump 48–80 M³/h Pumping Speeds For Continuous Operation
1. Product Overview
The AIRIPA APN048, APN060 and APN080 Oil Free Dry Screw Vacuum Pumps are designed for industrial processes requiring clean vacuum generation, continuous gas evacuation and dependable equipment integration.
Built around a compound screw rotor mechanism, these air-cooled pumps deliver 48–80 m³/h effective pumping speeds with a specified ultimate pressure of ≤0.5 Pa. The three models provide different capacities for vacuum drying, coating systems, industrial processing and OEM machinery.
With KF40 inlet connections, a dry pumping chamber and a self-contained cooling arrangement, the APN Series offers an alternative to vacuum systems requiring external cooling water or oil-sealed pumping chambers.

2. Key Features & Benefits
Higher Pumping Capacity
Effective pumping speeds of 48, 60 and 80 m³/h accommodate different industrial evacuation requirements.
Oil Free Process Chamber
The dry screw mechanism operates without lubricating oil in the gas path, helping protect compatible processes from oil contamination.
Continuous Operation Capability
The screw pumping mechanism is designed for sustained operation within specified inlet pressure and process conditions.
Air Cooling Without Water Connections
Integrated air cooling simplifies installation where cooling water infrastructure is unavailable or undesirable.
Precision Compound Screw Rotors
Closely fitted, non-contacting rotors transfer gas through the pump without friction between the rotor surfaces.
Low Ultimate Pressure
A specified ultimate pressure of ≤0.5 Pa supports vacuum systems requiring evacuation to low pressures.
Industrial Flange Connections
A KF40 inlet and KF25 exhaust provide defined connection sizes for piping and equipment integration.
Mechanical Sealing Protection
Dedicated inlet and exhaust sealing arrangements help isolate the pumping chamber from the lubricated drive section.
Compact Equipment Integration
The integrated pump and motor arrangement supports installation in industrial machinery and modular vacuum systems.
3. Working Principle
The APN dry screw vacuum pump uses two synchronized screw rotors to create moving gas pockets inside the pumping chamber. Gas enters through the inlet, travels along the rotor passages and exits through the discharge connection.
Because the rotors do not contact each other or the chamber walls, the pumping process does not require oil inside the gas path. The mechanical transmission is lubricated separately, while the sealing arrangement helps prevent lubricant migration into the pumping chamber.
An integrated air-cooling system removes operating heat. For vapor-containing or particle-laden processes, suitable inlet protection, operating temperatures and maintenance practices should be considered.
