APD Dry Screw Vacuum Pump System For Chemical Processing And OEM Applications
1. Product Overview
The AIRIPA APD Series Oil Free Dry Screw Vacuum Pump System is developed for industrial processes requiring clean, reliable vacuum generation and flexible equipment integration.
Using a dry screw pumping mechanism, the APD Series compresses process gases without lubricating oil in the pumping chamber. Its non-contact screw rotors, purge protection options and configurable system components make it suitable for demanding applications where process cleanliness and equipment reliability are important.
The series covers five configurations, from 120 to 1300 m³/h in listed peak pumping speed. Customers can select standalone dry screw pump units or combined vacuum systems according to the required pumping capacity, operating pressure and process conditions.
2. Key Features and Benefits
Oil Free Dry Compression
The pumping chamber operates without lubricating oil, reducing the risk of oil contamination in compatible vacuum processes.
High Vacuum Capability
Specified ultimate pressures reach ≤0.5 Pa or ≤0.1 Pa, depending on the model, supporting different industrial vacuum requirements.
Non Contact Screw Rotors
Precision screw rotors operate without direct contact, helping reduce internal wear and support long-term operation.
Process Gas Compatibility
The dry pumping design can accommodate selected challenging process gases when suitable materials, purge protection and operating conditions are specified.
Optional Purge Protection
Purge gas can help protect internal components from deposits and corrosive process conditions when properly configured.
Configurable Vacuum Systems
Available connection components and system accessories help match the pump to different industrial installations.
Intelligent Control Options
Optional intelligent controls support operating status monitoring and system management, depending on configuration.
Compact Cabinet Design
The enclosed system layout integrates pumping equipment into a practical structure for industrial installation and maintenance.
Low Noise Configuration
Specified noise levels are ≤70–72 dB, depending on the model and supplied silencer configuration.
3. Working Principle
The APD Series uses two precisely synchronized screw rotors rotating in opposite directions inside the pumping chamber. Gas enters through the inlet, becomes trapped between the rotors and housing, and moves toward the discharge port as the rotors turn.
The non-contact rotor design enables oil-free gas compression. Depending on the process, purge gas and suitable accessories can be used to help protect the pumping chamber and maintain stable operation under challenging conditions.
