Working Principle

A single-stage oil-sealed rotary vane pump uses a cylindrical stator, an eccentric rotor and sliding vanes. As the motor spins the rotor off-center, centrifugal force pushes the vanes outward against the cylinder wall. The expanding vane-sealed chambers draw gas in on the inlet side, while the shrinking chambers compress and discharge it through an oil-lubricated exhaust valve. Sealing oil lubricates the vanes and fills clearances to help reach the 0.1 mbar ultimate pressure. On the ASV-300 unit, the pump feeds a 300L receiver that holds a vacuum reserve and supplies multiple brass work ports simultaneously, while the integrated electrical control cabinet manages motor start, protection and monitoring.
